So this was dinner like two weeks ago. London broil. Pretty rare, to my liking. My husband did a fabulous job cooking this ^.^ The veggie/meat ratio doesn’t look right in this photo but rest assured, I ate like a plateful of broccoli altogether. Between the two of us we kill a whole bag of frozen broccoli.

Yesterday was probably the last perfect beach day of the year so my husband and I joined his sister and her boyfriend on an adventure to Ft. Desoto Beach. Beautiful weather, secluded strip of beach, refreshingly cool water….it was gorgeous. We were only there from 11-2 because we wanted to grab food before going to a pumpkin carving party.

We chose Chief’s Creole Cafe near downtown St. Pete. My man and I ordered our Creole Gumbo sans rice and we got a heaping bowl of steamy goodness!! They don’t skimp out on the portion.

Here is the pumpkin I carved at the party:

I absolutely LOOOOOOOOOVE this movie because Lilo is such a sweetie. My heart melts every time I watch it.

At the beach yesterday we drank mimosas. The mimosas that we drink start out with OJ but then we keep refilling with champagne before our mugs get empty so then we’re drinking straight up champagne. Brut. After the beach we decided to be festive so we got some Appleton rum (did I mention that we were in Jamaica last week for our friends’ wedding?!?!?!?) and apple cider. That’s all. Nothing fancy. It was fabulous. Drank that for the rest of the night and so here is what’s happening for dinner tonight:

That’s right. Convenience wins AGAIN lol I’m going to start ordering the pizza mix from Julian Bakery just to make primal pizza a little easier while still being able to use good oil (this particular pizza uses canola…not primal/paleo friendly).

That is all.
