I started a new job as a nanny this week. The third grade child got straight A’s on his report card so the family went out to a Japanese steak house for dinner last night. There were leftovers in the refrigerator so I fed that to the toddler for his lunch. There’s a giant bottle of yum yum sauce that the mom bought a while back that she said I could have because her son said it doesn’t taste the same. That boy is right, it doesn’t even smell the same. But being that I haven’t had yum yum sauce in 3 years I knew that the difference in taste wouldn’t be noticeable so I went ahead and used the bottled sauce on my steamed broccoli for lunch. The ingredient list looked pretty scary….so I made a mental note to find a primal/paleo version of it online. Now that I have Primal Kitchen’s awesome Primal Mayo, I feel like I can easily make any sauce!!
