Grabbed food from Locale Market last night. It actually wasn’t our first choice. We wanted to go to Chief’s Creole Cafe but they, along with the bbq joint next door, were rented out for a private event.
I’ve had brisket from Locale at least three other times and each time it was soooooo good! Mouth-watering good. Last night, not so much. I didn’t pay attention to the menu so I don’t know if the meat is from a different farm or if the fault lies in those who cooked it, but the brisket was very dry. I even sliced up the fat and mixed it in with the meat to get some moisture in but that didn’t do much. It was quite sad but the side items were fantastic. Last night was a fluke for sure.
