This ground beef meal has been a staple for the last few months. It’s basically cheeseburger casserole, except I don’t bother finishing it in the oven. I just brown the beef and add some basic seasonings like salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder (I don’t use onion powder if I add diced onion to the meat) while it cooks. Once it is cooked through, I add in the burger condiments for the sauce (ketchup, mustard, mayo) and mix it all in. The last step is to add cheese, and put on the lid for a few minutes to melt the cheese. Add a few slices of pickles on the side and dinner is served. Easy peasy perfection!

This meal can be made Whole30 and/or Paleo compliant by omitting the cheese, and making sure that you’re using ketchup without any added sugar, such as Unsweetened Ketchup from Primal Kitchen.
